Again, sorry that its been a while, but ive been pretty busy lately. So the Habs are down 3-1 for the second time in these playoffs, and honestly its looking pretty grim. You cant even count these guys out, but im definitely not feeling like they have much in the tank. Going to 2 game 7s against 2 powerhouses isnt easy, and facing an entirely different beast like the flyers isnt any easier. Im proud of this team, made it to the final four which is a lot more than Canucks, Oilers, Leafs, Sens, Flames, Rangers, Kings, Panthers, Pens, Caps, Devils, and Sabres can say. I believe that if we can push this to 7 games we can take this series. But my head is starting to see that they're tired and this includes Halak.
Positives of the series so far: Cammalleri, SUBBAN, Gorges continued renaissance, the sometimes mind blowing play of Hamrlik/Spacek, Lappy-Moore-Moen.
Negatives of the series: Halak's inability to "steal" a game (though im not criticizing him, he just doesn't have that same magic), Marc-Andre Bergeron, Pouliot/AK46/SK74/Metro.
Sometimes all you can do is believe. This is what Habs fans need to do now. Fans until the bitter end. Though i think we will regret not giving the guys an ovation today, even though it was a pretty abysmal game. It might be the last of 2010-2011. Hopefully not. Hopefully we'll have enough for one last round. GO HABS GO!
